Rings

Hi all,

Heather is now back in Cambridge, after a short but culture-filled visit to Aachen. She went to the jewellery* yesterday to finalise the order for our wedding bands. We also selected a cake and bought a few things to make it, as well as a few pair of shoes (I still don't know why one was not enough =P).

Invitations

We've sent our invitation out last week, so be on the look out for them!

Date Confirmed!!

Our wedding date has now been confirmed as the 18th of August, 2010. Our deposit has been paid, and planning is starting for real!

The only things standing between us and a confirmed wedding date is two cheques that should be mailed tomorrow!!!

We're not doing anything.

We haven't done anything. We are planning on putting the down payment on the castle in August, one year from the date. Then we can start doing things. My sister visited us, and now that she has left, I am trying hard to get a job.

Update

There's really nothing we can do just now, until we put the deposit on the castle. We got the sculpey in the post, but we haven't done anything with it yet. H&M finally emailed me and confirmed that I didn't get the job, and I haven't been able to get any other interviews. Well that's really it for now.

Cakes!

Last week when Francois was away at his conference, I spent some time looking at cakes. One night we sat down and decided on your cake, the groomscake, and the cake topper, which we are going to make ourselves using Sculpey. Which reminds me, I need to go pay for the Sculpey on ebay. We are not going to tell you what they are so, it will be a totally awesome surprise!!

Nothing else has really been going on here wedding wise.
